Vice Chair - Amy B. Tate

Assistant General Counsel, Tate Automotive Companies

Amy serves as Assistant General Counsel for Tate Automotive Companies, focusing her practice on personnel, real estate, civic engagement, and daily operations. Her prior legal experience includes three terms as Legislative Counsel for Anne Arundel County, private legal practice, serving as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Baltimore City in the Felony Trial Division, and as Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph P. Manck of Anne Arundel County. Amy also served in the field of charitable giving and regulation with the Office of the Secretary of State and nonprofit organizations in Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

Amy is a Board Member of the Arts Council for Anne Arundel County, Sunday School leader with St. Martin’s in the Field Episcopal Church in Severna Park, and a parent volunteer for school, athletic, and Boy Scout activities. She resides in Severna Park with her two children.
