CFAAC is investing in local nonprofit organizations that are engaged in providing opportunities for low-income county residents to live healthy, vibrant, and successful lives through our grantmaking program, Ladders to SUCCESS.
Focus Areas
Economic Opportunity: Increasing the economic self-sufficiency of low-income Anne Arundel County residents through programs that eliminate barriers to employment and provide workforce training, skill-building, and job placement.
Youth Development: Helping low-income youth in Anne Arundel County succeed in school and life through programs that provide academic advancement and life-skills development.
Grantmaking Criteria
Projects will:
- Include meaningful, reasonable, and measurable outputs and outcomes
- Build self-sufficiency
- Leverage partnerships and/or collaboration
- Attract sustainable funding
Three $25,000 grants will be awarded in each focus area—Economic Opportunity and Youth Development—for a total of six grants and $150,000.
Grant Application Deadline:
Applications are due on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, by 3:00 pm for both the Economic Opportunity and Youth Development grants.
