EVENT DETAILS

For Grantseekers: Meet and Understand Community Investment Funders

"Meet and Understand Community Investment Funders" is an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to better understand how community development and capacity building funders make grant decisions.

Nonprofit representatives are invited to hear from ABAG members. You will hear directly from the people who manage funding requests from the community and learn how they make grant decisions.

Our speakers will share information about their grant process and their perspectives on building lasting relationships with their grantees. They will provide insight into their funding decision making and tips for writing a stellar grant proposal. Structured as a panel discussion, attendees will have ample time to ask questions and engage directly with the speakers.

The panelists are:

  • Laurie Latuda Kinkel, Program Officer, Goldseker Foundation
  • Tina Hike Hubbard, Director of Education, Enterprise Community Partners
  • Danielle Torain, Senior Associate, Baltimore Civic Site, The Annie E. Casey Foundation

This event is for grantseekers. Registration is from 8:30 AM-9:00 AM and the event will end at 10:30 AM, with networking until 10:45 AM.

Fee: $45 per participant
